Rotary / Algoma Golf Tournament held June 19, 2006 at Lookout Point Golf Course:
This year's event was again a great success with 148 golfers participating and helping to raise $40,000 for the Niagara Peninsula Children's Centre.
While the weather looked questionable during the morning, the clouds cleared and we played the entire tournament in bright sunshine. A great time was had by all at the scenic and challenging Lookout Point golf course.
Larry Playfair, the head of the Buffalo Sabres Alumni Association, surprised us with the donation of an autographed Gilbert Perrault hockey jersey, which was auctioned off for $1,250.
